OntwerpKracht ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This page explains what personal data we collect, why, how long we keep it, and your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. What we collect

Depending on your cookie choice, we may collect:

• Pageviews and clicks — which pages you visit, which buttons you click.
• Device and browser info — screen size, operating system, browser.
• Referrer and campaign source — how you arrived (Google, LinkedIn, etc.).
• IP address — partially masked by our analytics provider.
• Session recordings — only with "Accept all" consent. Input fields are always masked.
• Email address — when you use the contact form or chat. Linked to your behavior only with "Accept all" consent.
• Chat messages — when you send a message via the chat widget, it's forwarded to our team by email.

3. Why we process this data

• To improve the website and understand how visitors use it.
• To respond to your contact requests.
• To measure the performance of marketing campaigns.

4. Legal basis

Analytics and marketing data rely on your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), given via the cookie banner. Contact form data is processed based on our legitimate interest in responding to you (Article 6(1)(f)).

5. Third parties we share data with

• PostHog (EU region, posthog.com) — product analytics. Privacy policy.
• Google — Google Ads conversion tracking via gtag.js, only with "Accept all" consent. Privacy policy.
• Resend — email delivery for contact form. Privacy policy.
• Google Gemini API — AI responses in the chat widget. Privacy policy.

6. How long we keep your data

• Analytics events: 12 months.
• Session recordings: 30 days.
• Contact emails: until the conversation or project ends, then up to 7 years for tax law compliance.

7. Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you.
• Have it corrected or deleted.
• Withdraw consent at any time (clear your cookies or change your choice in the banner).
• Lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

8. Changing your cookie choice

Clear the cookie cookie_consent_level from your browser storage and reload the page. The banner will reappear.
